CURVA 3 completes what is, to date, a trilogy of publications that originated from the blog Curva de la felicidad, created by designer and illustrator Antonio Ballesteros. This volume brings together texts and drawings created between April 2018 and December 2023 and, as a counterpoint to the previous two, includes more texts — some longer and with a deeper, more reflective tone. It combines slogan-like, rallying phrases with written reflections in which the pandemic, loneliness, illness, and death form part of an equation that is resolved—almost mathematically—by contrasting them with politics, friendship, love, and sex as exalted and essential counterpoints. CURVA 3 is a coherent continuation of everything achieved with the first two volumes and was complemented by the exhibition CURVA ASK at Gabinete de dibujos (València), held between February and May 2024.
