Worlds to Come. A Starting Point It aims to foster a space for dialogue from which to confront the turbulent delirium of our times. In this collective dialogue, the pagan teachings of genealogy emerge, combined on this occasion with the critical powers of science fiction. From the practices of philosophy, science, and aesthetic thought to those of literature and cinema, the texts in dialogue in this book offer tentative diagnoses of the present while simultaneously seeking to activate unprecedented powers of imagination for what is to come.
The book includes texts by Boris Groys, Emma Ingala Gómez, Juan Arnau, Miguel Morey, Álex Gómez-Marín, Carmen Pardo Salgado, and Andrés Duque, as well as individual conversations with David Lapoujade and Andrea Soto Calderón.
In dialogue with these reflections, a sequence of images is presented, taken from the ongoing film project Souvenir: Fragments of a Future Film by the collective Cine por Venir.
