Random Paradise is a random and paradisiacal—i.e., experiential and playful—approach to the career of designer Antonio Ballesteros (FORMO). This book is structured through 1,922 images randomly related to each other, following spatial ordering principles decided in advance; like a game whose rules cannot be broken. Or a profession trying to deny itself, but failing. Across 690 pages, the diverse images coexist with their descriptions organized as a catalog. In between, 20 editorial notes appear, attempting to define, through the very impossibility of the endeavor, the importance of a profession determined to bring words and images together on the same medium.
